Microbiome engeneering and 16S analysis

Compared to the gut microbiome, the oral microbiome is quite elusive. So far, people treated the oral bacteria as "enemies" only and removed them by all possible means.

We are isolating and characterizing oral microbiomes, in various locations,  times and conditions .

Our vision is to be able to engineer oral microbiomes in a personal manner by adding probiotic on one hand and removing pathogens by phages, on the other hand.
